Easy, just let more convicted pedophile child rapists walk free after serving less than half of their already tiny sentence! Then put them in the Olympics representing your country! Just because he drugged her and "only hurt her a little" instead of holding her down.

Megabyte Punch is a side scrolling fighting game where you build your robot with different parts salvaged from fought robots that give you different abilities and powerups.

It is a super fast, casual game that you can bang out in a few nights. It has a pretty good electronic soundtrack, boss fights feel weighty even if they are relatively simple.

One of my favorite games as far as just fun and de-stressing!

Definitely Red plus. They are quiet as hell and 12TB+ are helium filled.

Just got a 12TB a while ago and it is as quiet as my 4TB drives.

But for OP, just use software raid instead of hardware raid. There is very little point for homelabbers using hardware raid at this point without an existing setup.

XPpen also has their own tablet drivers and is 5x the value of wacom. Wacom is the apple of drawing tablets and has been riding their own coattails for like 10 years charging ridiculous prices for old models without doing any innovation.

I think Huion also has Linux drivers now too, though their latest H1061P tablet has a hardware issue with bad pressure sensing.

Though OP was looking more for a standalone PC 2 in 1 tablet with a touchscreen that doesn't have to be plugged in at all.

This lawsuit being funded by a Epic Games shell company would not be surprising in the least. They have done so much and stooped so low to try to not have to actually do work and create a good platform.

The thing is, you can ONLY have a conversation with extremely like minded people. If you are not tip-of-the-left authoritarian, you are called a filthy lib and shunned.

Sadly it just suffers the same syndrome as that conservative sub on reddit: "Anyone who doesn't agree with me on every important and semi important point is literally the same as my worst enemy and I will fill their inbox with insults"

I disagreed with the way they often brigade posts and they said I was "indiscernible from the racist, fascist party" from my country. Like they went through the effort of looking up where I was from and the political parties there to find the most right wing one to name call and insult me with lol. That says a lot about the community culture, in my opinion.

It also has heavy Russian apologist content. Like, I even understand that MLs love China and excuse everything they do, but Russia is literally an right wing oligarchy with no health care and crippled social benefits that is led by an extreme right wing authoritarian fascist. I get that they are China's ally by the enemy-of-my-enemy principle, but that doesn't mean they are automatically good.

To be fair, the UK is essentially aiming to be America 2.0

Many countries are trending more expensive (Belgium went up 30% house price in 4 years) but the UK is on another level of the wealthy literally owning all property and purposely leaving tens of thousands of houses empty just to spite the working class.

[-] JustEnoughDucks@feddit.nl 8 points 9 months ago

That's very true.

But Marxist-Leninism (Lemmy.ml), the attempt to make communism practical and achievable and bumbling into fascism, does have a hierarchy.

The problem with that is that will cause areas to drive up housing prices to expand the untaxed group to general more "upper middle class" to price out undesirables and draw in higher earners as a form of tax break. This already happens without the tax bracket scaling and would probably get 10x worse.

I don't have a great alternative, but maybe a weighted CoL combined with 0% below median income in the district? Something like that, but that would probably cause low CoL areas to pay way more taxes. Maybe I am thinking of it wrong.

That's the thing though. They don't want to best talent. That is the point. You have to pay for talent. Talent tends to rock the boat and has the power to spark change because the company becomes reliant on them.

Most companies are completely fine paying much less for mediocre workers who will keep their head down and deliver a mediocre product where the execs get a way better profit margin and can perpetuate toxic systems.

Inb4 2 years from now:

Google "fixes bug" where "Spotify.com" was autocorrected to "music.youtube.com"

Google spokesperson says "oops silly AI bugs, we will make sure it never happens again 🤞🏻"

But there is a HUGE difference between living a healthy, active, and fulfilling life and holding a public office deciding extremely sensitive and important things that will decide the outcome of someone's life or the lives of hundreds of millions of people.

What if 50% of people above a certain age have a mental of physical disability(example), then would an age limit be justified? There are probably more 25-30 year olds than 70-80 year olds that are mentally and intellectually sound enough to hold office.
