Headline makes it sound like he's managed to get out of it somehow, but in fact he's just literally been dodging being served; he's still pretty fucked.

Good for him. Hope they never catch him.

If a mass shooter kills a dozen people then gets shot and killed, people applaud the one who shot them.

If a CEO directly contributes to the suffering and death of an untold number of people, then gets shot and killed, why should anyone respond differently?

The fact that the deaths he caused were within the bounds of our legal system should be seen as a condemnation of our policies, not as justification for what he did. When other avenues have been exhausted, what did they think people were going to do - just sit around forever and say 'Well, that sucks'?

Musk is doing a great job of showing everyone exactly why no one should be able to have that much money.

Sure, and theoretically that's covered by the price that was listed on the menu. If it's not, it's the restaurant's problem, not mine. Fuck that noise, seriously.

POS systems including tip requests really piss me off. We recently discovered a great local restaurant and we order food from them (and pick it up, to take home) a few times a month. They have one of those POS systems and it really irritates me to have to tap 'No Tip' in plain view of the cashier every time. We're picking up food; I'm walking up to a counter, collecting a bag, swiping a credit card and leaving. Why the fuck would I tip for that? I don't tip at the grocery store and cashiers there do the same amount of work.

“[Horse Armor] must have been [sold] in the millions, it had to be millions,” Nesmith said. “I don’t know the actual number, I probably did at one point, I just no longer remember that. And that was kind of a head shaker for us: you’re all making fun of it and yet you buy it.”

And that right there is the reason why the industry is absolutely saturated with this shit now. If people had just chilled the fuck out when this shit was first introduced, made sure it was an absolute flop from a sales perspective (not only for this one, but for others that were released back then, too), we might be in a better place now.

I mean maybe if you hadn't been milking Skyrim for 13 fucking years, expectations wouldn't be so unreasonably high, would they?

“During World War II, Churchill told the United States, ‘give us the tools, we'll do the job.’ And I say, give us the tools and we'll finish the job a lot faster,” Netanyahu said in the video.

Yeah, that's what we're afraid of, and exactly why we don't want to give you the weapons.

“Why do you seek to deny [the right to an abortion] to other women?” Clark pressed.

“Let me, let me — I don’t, I don’t,” Holtorf replied.

“You have voted to restrict abortion access,” Clark shot back.

“And I have. And I’m a pro-life person. I think you should try to choose life every time. But there are exceptions. And there are times when you need abortion. Abortion is a medical procedure,” declared Holtorf.

There are exceptions, like when it's inconvenient for the rich and powerful. Other people should (be compelled by law to) choose life every time.

While I'm glad he was awarded the judgement, it's wild that an undercover cop gets 23.5 million, while tons of civilians are also beaten by police and receive much lesser judgements, if they're lucky enough to get anything at all...

Family Sharing enables you to play games from other family members' libraries, even if they are online playing another game. If your family library has multiple copies of a game, multiple members of the family can play that game at the same time.

Well this is exceptionally exciting. This potentially solves 100% of my complaints with Family Sharing as it exists currently.
