I'm supporting the restaurant by eating there, and paying menu prices for food. If they need me to pay more, they can raise their menu prices. I'm not going to guess how much things actually cost.

Ooh, I'll play.

Final Profit: A Shop RPG is an RPG about a deposed elf queen who opens a humble shop and slowly advances through the ranks of the Bureau of Business with the eventual goal of defeating Capitalism from within. It's unique. It has some incremental game like mechanics, and can get a little repetitive in the mid-game, but it has a surprisingly compelling story and a lot of unfolding mechanics that keep it interesting all the way through.

Roughly a 30 hour playthrough with many endings, NG+ and some optional challenge modes that remove or change some of the most obvious strategies for advancement, so if you finish it and still want more, you can play through again with a somewhat different experience.

The fact that this post has a downvote is legitimately worrying to me. I really hope that's not someone who disagrees with this statement.

"I don’t care what the millionaires think.”

If he made this the tagline for his entire campaign / next term, I'd feel much better about voting for him.

That's on average 57 per day, or 3.5 per hour if we assume 16 hours a day awake. Seems likely he just automated the process somehow, or that multiple people were making reports under his name. Or he was just submitting a report every 17 waking minutes for the entire year. Who knows.

Haven't Palestinians been through enough? You'd make them clean up Lyndsey Graham, too?

Parachutes require pretty specific conditions to be able to use, and they require a fair amount of know-how. Expecting random passengers to be able to operate a parachute at all is basically a losing battle, and if you had people jumping out of planes that were on their way down, you'd have a lot more people dying (speculation but I'd wager money on it) than if they just stayed in the plane. Plus it'd be a horrible look for the airline - even worse than a plane crashing and killing everyone on it - if they had dead people raining down over cities and whatnot because they jumped and didn't properly deploy their chute, or deployed it too quickly, or didn't jump at the right time and got hit by the plane or any number of other possible problems.

Fighter jets and the like have ejection seats that specifically propel the pilot away from the plane before deploying the chute, and recreational (or military) planes that people are jumping from are designed for that purpose, and are moving a lot slower than commercial airliners. Opening the door on a plane to let people jump would cause more problems than keeping them on the plane. (People getting sucked out the door and the like.) Getting passengers safely clear of a plane that's going down unrecoverably would be basically impossible.

The other problem with this, content aside, is the classification of a post as "successful" or "unsuccessful", implying that how much interaction your post receives is a scoreboard and you should be using the platform solely with the goal of scoring higher in mind. Which is basically exactly what happens in most big Reddit subs, and is a large contributor to the platform growing increasingly shitty.

People used to post on internet forums because they were interested in the discussion, or had something novel to share, and now it's just to make an imaginary number go up.

If I have a problem I can't solve, and I make a post, and get 1 upvote and 1 reply that solves my problem, I'd call that post far more successful than a repost of a repost of a cat video that gets 100 replies and 10,000 upvotes.

America, if you’d vote for change, this wouldn’t be necessary. The US is the only developed country where this is commonplace.

In order for us to vote for change, change has to be on the ballot.

As many have pointed out on social media, having seen this footage, children were seated all around the couple that night, within viewing range of what they were up to.

You didn't even have to click through to the article, it was right in OP's summary. Come on.

They asked for harmless pranks - this would cause murders.

Sounds like (purely speculation, since the details aren't available) he pulled a gun on or otherwise threatened the agents coming to arrest him, based on his other behavior. Told them to come back with a warrant, they did so, and he took issue?

Either way, posting on the internet about assassinating government officials, regardless of whether it's serious or not, was probably not the smartest opening move.
