Does up=off for British light switches? That’s unhinged

It's sensible. It stoos the electrons from falling out!

Couple of things that might be useful:

  • Setup remote desktop access using VNC/RDP. It can be useful to access your PC etc while using your phone or other devices. Or accessing a raspberry pi on your main PC
  • Setup a virtual machine and install Windows in it. It might be a good way to think about migrating to linux as your main OS
  • Steam. See how performance on Linux compares to Windows for your games.

Brilliant! The dance moves make this special! His Bohemian Rhapsody is killer too.

As Africa alternatives, I also like this choral arrangement, or Chaos Divine's version for something harder

One shop I was at had a manual process going with cash only purchases.

That blew up when I ordered 3 things and the 'cashier' didn't know how to add them together. They didn't have calculator on Windows available🤣

I told them the total and change to give me, but lent them the calculator on my phone so they could verify for themselves 🤣

When Choice tested, 4 out of 6 didn't meet their SPF claims. You can see who they tested in the smh article.

I like the Cancer Council Active (grey one). It's not greasy/thick feeling, and actually dries on your skin. Mainly use for outdoor activities/sports.

And while it's a bit more expensive than budget sunscreens, it's a lot less than a lot of sunscreens. Check out the prices on some of those she tested. Holy cost of living crisis, Batman!

And I feel like I'm helping a bit by my money going to the Cancer Council.

  • Excitedly get new machine. Install Debian.

  • Not so excitedly search error messages.

  • Dejectedly find need kernel/drivers that's 18 months later than the Debian versions

  • boot sysrescuecd to find next distro to write to USB drive ....

  • kick self for buying shiny, latest hardware without checking for linux support. Again....😡

I tried upgrading instead of a fresh install.

Needless to say, I ended up doing a fresh install eventually...

Just last week, I fired up Portal with RTX (on Windows, I'm ashamed to admit), and holy guacamole, I think it stresses my gpu more than any other game in my library!
