I'm a big fan of Microsoft Teams; full featured chat with easy voice and video calls, and you can sign up with any e-mail address (even non-Microsoft accounts).
I use Blue Buffalo dry food, a mix of their Adult and Weight Control versions. I also give the cats canned food - usually some form of Friskies - with added water. I also got them the "PetSafe Drinkwell Seascape Ceramic Dog & Cat Fountain", which they absolutely love - I like it because it's silent and filtered.

The Firewalla is pricey but amazing. I am running the Gold at home, and it runs Linux and supports Dockers so I'm running PiHole on the router.
It's outside your budget, but you should look at Firewalla. I think their least expensive model is the Blue Plus, but it provides security capabilities like firewall and VPN as well as routing and DHCP. The Gold even supports Docker containers - I'm running PiHole in a Docker on my Gold. I'm not using VPN client capabilities, but I know they're there.
While she ought to be tossed in jail, she is likely shielded by the Speech & Debate clause.

Yup, my wife and kids use it with their Gmail accounts, I use it with my MS account on my Android phone. You can also use the same accounts on desktop clients and Apple devices, so it's not tied to a phone number. However, I'm not sure I would recommend setting it up for twin boys with ADHD (again). 😆
