That would be an anti-virus.. x)

Since it would remove spy-ware from your computer.

OP I agree with you, it's a great idea imo.
I've been a moderator before on a Discord server with +1000 members, for one of my FOSS projects,
and maintenance against scam / spam bots grew so bad,
that I had to get a team of moderators + an auto moderation bot + wrote an additional moderation bot myself!..

Here is the source to that bot, might be usable for inspiration or just plain usable some other users:
https://github.com/Rikj000/Discord-Auto-Ban

I think it will only be a matter of time before the spam / scam bots catch up to Lemmy,
so it's good to be ahead of the curve with auto-moderation.

However I also partially agree with @dohpaz42, auto-moderation on Reddit is very, uhm, present.
Imo auto moderation should not really be visible to non-offenders.

XMR is one of the few honorable crypto projects out there though.

However this fundraiser is suspicious and spamming, which I do not condone.

Did not know that,
however it won't make me change up my mind about Nintendont.

All their previous lawsuites and takedowns against the modding and emulation communities, where not fake, nor trolls, and made me despise them.

Waydroid is made for Wayland.

You can however run it on X-Server,
through a Wayland session window
(e.g. KWin_Wayland, Cage, Weston, ...):
https://docs.waydro.id/faq/setting-up-waydroid-only-sessions

I wrote a tool to help improve the user experience on X-Server,
however currently it only supports KDEs Kwin_Wayland:

TLDR: But-hurt C++ dev has a hard time accepting that his favorite language is not memory safe.

You can try to convince the Discord server moderators to bridge their servers to Matrix with something like T2Bot:
https://t2bot.io/discord/

That's what I did when I was running a Discord server,
worked nicely in both directions.

Here is a guide I once wrote on how to do that in the Eternity app for Lemmy on Android:

I want HP to shove it where the sun don't shine :)

Here are a few examples, but if you do some research like I told you to, you'll stumble upon many more:

I do own my devices.

Companies want you to not own the devices, and rent them through a subscription model,
however I refuse to do that.

If you do that / fall for that,
then you're part of the problem making such a future a reality..

Big tech writes the equivalent of digital heroin.

The longer they can keep you on their platforms,
the more they can data-farm you,
the more data they have on you,
the more they can sell about you / earn on you.

Detox yourself from your bad heroin addiction,
by switching to fair FOSS (Free Open Source Software) alternatives.

E.g. Use Invidious, Grayjay or NewPipe instead of YouTube.
