Hope these will help with opting out for data collection / informing yourself about it:
I'm using Looking-Glass to share my mouse/keyboard/audio between host and client:
https://looking-glass.io/
And USB-Libvirt-Hotplug to pass through USB devices to the KVM on the fly:

Hope these will prove useful to you :)
WASM projects can be open source,
just like Android apps can be.
However in both instances the compiled versions of it are not easily readable.
Also you can validate binaries against a shasum to ensure no tampering has happened with them.
Lemmyverse is a nice place to find instances/communities:

Or Tubular,
a fork of NewPipe,
with SponsorBlock + ReturnYouTubeDislike support
What would be the best way to oppose / vote against this law proposition?
Sure you can't prepare students for everything life will throw at them.
But right now they don't even teach basic economics, like what is deficit spending, what is fractional banking, and how it lead to hyper inflation every time throughout the history of humanity.
That's what I call keeping people intentionally dumb about the topic.
Now finalize it by:
- Requesting data exports of all they have on you
- Deleting all data you can on your account
- Deleting your actual Google account
Did that a few years ago, no regrets :)

For power users, I recommend to use a plugin like NoScript though, to block Google/CookieLaw's hidden JS spyware on the site (they're on 2/3th of the web tho).
Beware, NoScript will break some sites,
and will require you to manually enable/whitelist JS (JavaScript) sources for sites + CDNs to fix this again.
The day that happens, will be the day I delete my account.
No amount of free games can justify the amount of spy-ware Google/Tencent will bring to the table.
FYI, it's free on Steam to celebrate it till 2023-11-20 :)
I've been happily using the clock app that comes embedded with LineageOS for years now.
If you don't want to switch to LineageOS,
then you can still find/install it from ApkMirror:
