There's some great irony in how the communists didn't even have to seize the means of production, it was handed to them on a platter by western capitalists in pursuit of short term profit.

they spend an awfully small amount of time discussing the real and tangible harm that KF has brought to this world.

As callous as it may sound, it isn't their job to talk about that. I'm sure there's plenty of charities who's job it is to do that you can support, not to mention the police who should investigating if they caused real harm.

Instead Apple and hardware manufacturers in general should prevent their products from allowing any software company from invading the people’s privacy in such intense ways.

Like others, I'm doubtful he will produce anything with that little, I hope I'm wrong.

Maybe if he was forking existing open source projects and polishing them it's possible, but it's supposed to be closed source.

What scanner are you using to get that level of resolution?

I still use a virtually antique ultimaker 2, it does most things a modern printer does, just a bit slower.

If you get an open source printer[0] like voron, jubilee, or ender 3 then they can always be upgraded if/when new stuff comes out anyway.

[0] the prusa i3 mk3 is open source, but I think the i3 Mk4 is closed source unfortunately.
