Also just being realistic those parachute are probably just going to be questionable bargin bulk buys. They'd be designed to be as cheap as possible while just barely passing legal standards. They never be maintained or inspected. And there's no way they support my 6'5" 300lbs ass as my frozen corps plummets to the earth below.

Bragging is subjective.

Some take my bitching and moaning that I was up all night working on ____ because the project is a complete mess and they wanted it today as "bragging".

Its performance review time, i hate myself and rent is expensive.

I am sorry and you're welcome 😆

I 100% agree with accessibility features. This includes some of the newer considerations.

  • no-strobe mode
  • normalized volume mode (makes it so sound doesn't spike up suddenly, sudden loud noises are not nice)
  • greater setting for subtitles, size, color, descriptive vs transcription. And keep ui elements out of the caption zones!
  • documentation written in simple language for ease of readability.
  • read back for all written content. Not just the first damn word of a text box. (Seriouly a lot of games do this now its this is just annoying!)

I once saw a thing where a DM (D&D) had an anonymous survey of common sensitive topics. He'd gage what his players where comfortable with prior to starting a campaign and adjust the story accordingly. Games just need this.

Once was plenty enough to learn the lesson for me.

I figured it be smart to not wash it down with water or dilute it. To really let work on the stomach. Burned like hell but I was heartburn free.

I cannot over empathize the horrors that occurred in my lower regions the next day. My body made some new and loud noises. I can only be thankful I work from home.

The gummies are not bad all though, if used as directed, and still decently effective. Just be sure to wash them down with a lot of water.

Well creating a new community on a separate instance whould be a good plan B. For the purposes of making it easy to find for new users and not having dozens of dead communities with the same name it makes more sense to me to just use the one that exist. It would also provide a corner stone of users and post. That is unless somone else already made another community for this elsewhere but nothing came up in my searches for it.

From my understanding based on other post on here this is somthing that can be done by the instance mods. If I ask nicely enough.

That's a very bizzare question. But, as mentioned on the community. I was a fan of it back in the day, appreciating it's innovative approach to interactive multimedia at a time I was studying that very subject. I think there is still a lot we can learn from it mistakes and all.

Also there's a lot of younger folks still involved with the community, by giving them a place on Lemmy to share, and reminisce I feel will benfit lemmy as a whole.

You comment on "assuming it exist" made me double check. And it's gone. It no longer seems to exist on Maps. However I am seeing it on doordash and uberests at several differnt location running as a series of ghost kitchens.

The expense description had a number which, when I Google only had a bunch hits about "why is this calling me?" And other stuff related to fraudulent calls. So that whould give some evendence to your voice prompt theory. I did fall for one of those awhile back as reception in my office is terrible I can never tell if I'm getting one or if it's a genuine call.

So who replaces him then? A more obedient puppet?

That value of that stupid rock could probably have feed the entire homeless population of a small city for awhile.

Sell the stupid trinket to some rich people amd do good with the money? No. Let's yeet into the ocean for dramatic effect.
