Ah good to know. I've never been able to get a clear answer from my doctor about it. But I do know as I'm creeping to my 40s my guts protest the spicy stuff with sharp pains

I've eaten this a few times. It's actually great when you have congestion. Clears the sinuses real good. May have also given me an ulcer, but I used to eat a lot of spicy stuff so could have been anything.

I think surface level info is fine for an explainer video. That's kind if the point. He could do a little more to push people towards more detailed sources of info but he's not worse then most other explainer and he seems to be sourcing things decently.

I'll give it a bit longer if they havnt gotten this one yet either I'd just be spamming them. I'm sure that, if this is the right way to get this done, they will eventually get around to it.

I'm having trouble with the "if you need more housing, rewarding development is what you need to do." Part

From my limited understanding the purpose of a developer is to do speculative research to determine what building ideas they can make a profit off. They pay the builders and then find a buyer for the finished product.

So I can see how removing the gst can help motivate the building of apartments. but is that really the best strategy? It seems like a gamble to me. If it's still more profitable to build over priced condos they'd stick to that. Having affordable apartments near by those condos may lower the demand for expensive condos. So it may not be in the best intrest of developers to make them, let alone make them last.

We'd need somthing a little more systemic. Somthing not dependent on doing the profitable, thing but doing what is nessary to ensure there is quality affordable housing.

This is what I assumed as well. Losing access to your card for a few day may deter some people from reporting the issue. But I figured if I didn't stomp it out now it could easily be $10, or $100 next time.

I hope the banks actually bother to do somthjng about it.

Make em live in an apartment in Caldwell or one of the other slums. Give em an empathy lesson.

Politician does something clearly corrupt at the expense of tax payers.

Large scale investigation happens proving the Politician did a thing wich was corrupt. Also costing tax payer.

Trial occurs.

Politician pays a pittance, if anything. Then repeats the process.

Whould they even go to real prison? The rich typically seem to hire private security firms to make their home a "prison". They are under house arrest, but when home is a luxury mansion it's not justice.

Mine comes from my own terrible interpretation of wave existence/ string theory. I don't currently think things where this dramatic but it's still fun to consider.

There was a dimension, one far far smaller then our own. It is energy, hotter then any quazar. It's not at all stable.

The little universe became too small for the energy it contained and exploded. It ripped a hole into (one or many) neighboring dimensions. Like drops of blood in gigantic pools of water, the engery is dissipating into the void.

Now if you must belive in a "god". Think of how we are beings with millions of tiny lifeforms living on us. Not just our cells but an entire ecosystem of bacteria, virus, parasites, and other micro beasties we try not to think about. Those have life forms living on and in them. If this dimension of energy was like a living being like us, perhaps the proto life forms that built us where some of the things living on it. A tiny virus that was living on a cell of foot fungus living under "god's" toe nail before it exploded into our dimension and eventually became us.
