Down to Flinders for a walk in the sunshine and watch people floating around in the sky. Absolute ripper of a day! Now for some house cleaning before dins out. So sleepy though!

I generally take today off of work as it’s the anniversary of An Event, but this year I didn’t and now all I want is to stand up and walk out.

The time has come - I've listed my beloved car for sale. She's been amazing fun, but I just can't justify it anymore. Yes, I'll cry when she goes. Of course, I adore my new car, but it's a bit of a brat while my old car was a beast.

Interview went well! Hopefully hear if I'm onto the next stage tomorrow. Will also include a practical test, but let's see what happens! Thanks for the good vibes, peeps!!

So the Man and I are on the same page - if I get a week off, I'm going to Japan! Now just need a new job... interview tomorrow, please loads of positive energy!

Made a joke to my partner yesterday about racking off for solo week in Japan (well, probably just Tokyo) if I have a week off soon and it’s planted the seed in my mind and now I can’t stop thinking about it. If it was roles reversed, I’d probably encourage him to go.

Took a long drive on a glorious day, went to a cheese train right as a dog parade came through the door, ate many delicious cheesy things and finished an audio book. Today was wonderful.

I got up and walked away from someone on the ferry who kept coughing wetly. I can only hope she was recovering from something, but I was not taking the risk.

Anyone here been to Basement Comedy Club? I've got tickets for there tomorrow night, but do they pack people in like sardines?

I think I accept that I'm too worried to go - I'm flying to NZ on Sunday and am doing loads of limit my chances of becoming sick before this holiday. So... does anyone want 2 x tickets to Andrew Hamilton (from YeahMad) tomorrow night?

Feeling grumbly and lazy. Haven't gotten out of bed and struggling to find a reason to. Everything just feels hard today. Might be the wind?!

Wish I'd seen this two hours ago. Was late because it was stupidly hard to get out of bed. But, now I'm here... and just missing my bed!
