I really hate the idea of ecosystem, a way to lock you in. Kde Connect is a much better system imo.
I too wanted to ditch Nova, but couldn't find something that was a suitable replacement for me. Now I use older version of Nova (version 7) before it was acquired by Branch and I don't intend on updating it.
It also has double sidebars so I can put tabs in one of them instead of the top of the screen and hide the titlebar without having to modify userchrome.css. That's one thing I missed from Vivaldi when I moved to Firefox.
She didn't close the door
For the price manufacturers are asking it better have everything.
I think small bezels are really annoying. When you put a case that has a lip around the edges it's really problematic when you need to tap something on the edges of the screen. Plus I keep accidentally touching screen when holding the phone.
I'm genuinely curious, what can iOS do that Android can't?
I think it's just the culmination of removing things from phones and increasing prices. We keep paying exorbitant prices and they keep cheaping out. Smartphones used to be one device for everything and now they are glorified cameras with internet where you need a heat gun to replace a freaking camera. So to me it feels insulting that they would remove a charger.
How many of those child protect acts has it been already? It gets rejected and they keep coming back. If I were a cynical man (as opposed to apple cheeked bunny rabbit of a boy) I'd say it doesn't have anything to do with children.
Didn't a large number of ideas come from Samsung, like split screen for example?
Money from selling true wireless earbuds was too enticing. Even Fairphone made them and removed headphone jack and spat nonsense that it was a "point of failure."
That's gonna be rough for a bootloader unlock
