But what if one day five years from now you need to move 20 refrigerators at midnight and all the trains suddenly break down?

So you think I have a gambling problem?

I'll bet you $100 that I don't!

Don't fret, Verbatim will still be making recordable BD-Rs. However, this will mean that there will be no more 128GB BD-Rs, we'll be stuck with only 100GB BD-Rs (Sony is the only company that makes 128GB Blu-rays).

I recently ordered a pack of 128GBs from Japan. I'd recommend you do the same, because the prices are gonna skyrocket.

This comic was drawn by Tom Toro and was originally published in The New York Times on November 25, 2012.

The move, less than reported 20%, was delayed because of production schedules & studio not focusing on direct-to-streaming series but on its films.

For those of you who don't know, Linux From Scratch is a project that teaches you how to compile your own custom distro, with everything compiled from source code.

What was your experience like? Was it easier or harder than you expected? Do you run it as a daily driver or did you just do it for fun?

People in the comments seem to be confused. "Archived" as in compressed to a tarball, or "archived" as in no longer maintained?

The tips, ads, and recommendations you see will be more generic and may be less relevant to you.

And this is treated as a bad thing?!

The number of ads you see won't change, but they may be less relevant to you.

Send only info about your device, its settings and capabilities, and whether it is performing properly.

In other words, even after turning off all the settings, your data still gets collected.

The rest of the installation process wasn't fun either. It was worded in this weird, condescending tone, like "Let's get everything set up for you", and "Let Cortana help you get things done!".

Thank goodness for FLOSS and GNU/Linux.

Also, how would that work on things like birth certificates?

I've always known that AV1 and Opus are more efficient than HEVC/VP9 and MP3/Vorbis, but exactly how is this achieved? Is it just a matter of more efficient compression?

Why do we need "enriching conversations" built in a car at all? Aren't you supposed to be focusing on the road?

VW promises it won’t force you to create a new account or install any apps.

Not yet, anyway.
