I have a distant family member that illegally entered the US with her young child and used a stolen SSN and identity early on to gain employment.

Now that she's got her green card, she's fully in the "fuck everyone else, I got mine" camp. She cries about illegal immigrants and crime from people coming from her home country.

This is 100% Christian religious based bullshit "therapy". This can be done in Colorado with an "equivalent" graduate degree.

Even worse is if you're engaged in the practice of "religious ministry" you don't have to comply with any of the states licensure requirements as long as you don't advertise or yourself as "licensed". So in reality this "faith based therapist" probably is just some random person that works or volunteers at the church.

It's crazy to me that there were people truly out there in the world talking firmly out of their ass saying that Russia's current and last gen fighters could go toe to toe with their counterparts in the US Air Force. All you have to do is look at pictures like this and you can see almost zero corrosion control and preventative maintenance is performed on their most important aircraft in the fleet.

I watch Women's Gymnastics and Figure Skating since my wife got me into it and I won't entertain that shit with my friends. I definitely won't shy away from the fact that there are incredibly attractive women participating at an elite level in these sports, but I'm all about equal opportunity and will also absolutely recognize some hot bros doing gymnastics and figure skating. I've used industrial vitamix blenders at work and I have a Ninja at home. Unless you're making smoothies every single day there's absolutely no reason to pay 400 bucks for a vitamix. A ninja will suit the average person who needs a blender / food processor almost every time.

Dude, people get fired all the time after being arrested or accused of a heinous act. All of this well before ever going to trial. Businesses don't have to and often won't keep someone on that is a risk to their company, culture, or brand identity.

It absolutely sucks that people can lose their livelihood over "he said / she said", but the fact is that it happens all the time.
