Time to grab toilet paper, n95 masks, purell, tuna, soups, etc I guess. Also freeze meat before it becomes tainted/3x the price

Round 2 what did we all learn last time?

It's the barren concrete taking up 3/4 of the view with a hint of lawn behind more concrete. Europe was built before modern vehicles and has narrower streets with more residential in between businesses and has some cobblestone and what not. USA was built around railways and highways so everyone has a car and walking was an afterthought.

Edit: additionally ever wonder why Europeans say how far a distance is in kilometers and Americans answer with "it's about 25 minutes"? It's partially that reason plus the physical distance is larger (some states are larger than countries) so miles mean less to us than knowing the time, post logistics.

Legit something a child would dream up. Let's take challah bread or something else thick like it and throw some ketchup on and a slice of plastic cheese on top. It's as much pizza as the candy spaghetti from Elf was pasta.

I'd prefer scifi black projects eating away at the budget instead of the alternative $125 hammers and $75 nails a handful of old jerkoffs paid their brother in laws hardware company for and sipping margaritas on blowjob Island for 30 years.

It's always so weird because it's not like you can go to your primary doctor and say "I want X drug" right? Like, if there was a reason to give you a drug for something the doctor would have prescribed it. Also not ask you how you felt about them, just that here is X drug for your Y problem. If that doesn't work we try Z.

Or do people actually swap doctors over and over for months until they get one who says "ok dude"?

You mean like literal bags of cash have been for centuries?

Honestly a "left Joe Rogan" isn't going to pick up at all with the left because we aren't into tribal bullshit. We don't follow personalities over policies. If AOC said tomorrow "lol Mexicans" the left would shun her because she isn't aligned anymore with core values of being a decent person. Nobody wants a Joe Rogan on the left because left leaning voters care about the idea of a functional government more than they care about how a figurehead feels about the government.

Whats really appealing about people like Bernie is that for 60 years he's said the exact same things regardless of the personalities and political winds shifting. It's the clear optimistic integrity that's appealing, not Bernie himself. I want healthcare, I don't give a shit who is giving it to me. Democrats need to have a handful of under 55s who simply want simple stuff and are LOUD and CONSTANT about it. It's better to have a coordinated party than individual podcasters.

The whole plan is to break all government agencies and then swoop in with a handful of billionaire buddies to buy up EVERYTHING. Houses, bitcoin, schools, outsourced (previous) government jobs to private industry. Crash the economy and tank the financial hit while everyone else is forced to sell, die, or give up their stuff to survive a recession.

My apathy for anyone outside of my nuclear family is significantly higher than it was a few weeks ago. I'm just stocking up on masks, purell, and stuff for the coming year+ when a bird flu kills the yuckyucks and I can't buy tuna anymore because captain brain worms and the orange don't believe in science and will actively punish anyone who does for trying to get medicine. They saw their own covid response and went "hmm we did too much. Let's take more away" it's just mind boggling.

Since literally everything in the government seems to be getting dismantled, what companies are going to pick up the pieces for these sectors? If we are drowning in a sinking ship we can at least invest in a life boat to buy eggs with and fight the impending inflation. The goal seems to shift trillions from government funding to private sectors and deregulate to let the friends of Trump get even wealthier.

Elon also is heading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)... I bet they will substitute crypto for cash and pump/dump the nation. Honest opinion? Buy doge coin and bitcoin because inflation will skyrocket if Trump gets to print dollars and slap 100% tarrifs on food and Chinese imports (aka all products you buy). People will park their money in transient currencies and hard assets like houses and watch trump lower interest rates to refinance his real estate and his buddies too. Refinance your home, borrow cash and buy crypto, ride that wave before it burns down.
