Perhaps it was you that didn’t pay attention to the title in the first place?

see, I have proof, you have madboi rage you can’t process like a healthy person, so you direct it outwards at the person who pointed out - with evidence - that you’re wrong. classy.

now that two different people explained to you that “people who live there” clearly meant “natives”

you mean “moved the goalposts when they could win an argument and on facts”. lying now when there’s plenty f evidence here proving that you’re lying is a pretty bad way to try to convince someone of something.

Perhaps now that you’ve been explained what “occupation” means

I don’t need a bunch of angry trolls who can’ open their mouths without lies, rage, childish insults, and logical fallacies falling out to “explain” anything to me.

such hate, such anger, and not a very good imagination.

I’m glad I’m not you.

Uhhh https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2014/03/16/290525623/crimeans-vote-on-splitting-from-ukraine-to-join-russia

there’s moving the goalposts, then there’s moving them 55 years into the future and to the other side of the planet.

We’re taking about Hawaii here. you’re so lost and hate the US and “The West™®©” so much that you think this is one of your Ukaine/Russia arguments. WOW….

You’re the one reducing possibilities. Your dichotomy is between staying a territory and becoming a state

I never made this argument, but several others here did. in fact, I, several times, pointed out that there were other possibilities.

clearly you’re confused.

doesn’t represent the opinions of Native Hawaiians

  1. that was never my argument
  2. this is a straw man argument because you couldn’t argue agains the facts I initially stated and moved the goalposts from Hawaiian residents to Hawaiian natives
  3. as such, it’s irrelevant

even if it were relevant then it isn’t now just because you’re angry about… whatever.

If you’re so into facts and stats you should know a representative measure of their opinion could only be done through a survey of Native Hawaiians

well, why don’t you do that and come back when YOU have some relevant facts to present, and we can talk again.

you’re this desperate? wow

you’ll do anything but make a rational argument based on facts.

Is false

only if you intentionally take them out of context and twist the meaning. because they didn’t do that before the vote. as you said:

Like the Hawaiian Sovereignty Movement which began actively protesting and gained support in the 1960s, pretty soon after the referendum?

so, despite your obviously bad-faith and disingenuous argument, I’m not as stupid as you think I am. nice try.

That’s the thing about facts— your opinions don’t magically make them untrue, regardless of how many folksy sayings or logical fallacies you conjure. NOR how much you try to twist my words.

Swarming lands with your settlers and then claiming b-but they muh voted for it, is peak lib cracker imperialism. The french did the same in New Caledonia.

so, when you can’t argue with facts, you rest to redefining words, personal insults, and racist slurs.

classy

people can simply make a donation already, if they like. all of the extra work and resources required to run a coin and rewards system, track earning/spending and accounts, plus a secure payment system, etc… that would all cost a lot of time and resources. and that would require even more donations to pay for and maintain.

you’re right: it’s not useless, it’s worse than useless.

if you want to donate, just do that. if you want unconditional love, adopt a puppy.

explain to me how, exactly, you believe the sackler family profited from afghani opium. I’m curious about your thought process.

[-] adroidBalloon@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 year ago

oooo, you get ‘em!

because he can read a history book and see racists waving the flag. it doesn’t take a genius to put 2 and 2 together, even if it’s beyond your abilities. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
