I dislike money. I worked hard to have enough that it’s not on my mind. I don’t need to think about the cost of eating out or buying food, or pursuing hobbies. But I also don’t really spend much. I don’t make big purchases very often and when I do I still over-analyze them.

If I had a lot more money I could retire, but I still have half my life to live. I hope to retire in 16 years. I have a job that pays well, with good job security, and minimal stress. I get 38 hours of leave time per month and I live in California.

I have cash savings earning enough per month in interest to pay my cell phone and home internet bills entirely. But I don’t really have any other discretionary monthly subscriptions. My savings will probably be used on a new kitchen and bathroom eventually.

Tax brackets usually applies to income tax. You are talking about sales tax which varies by state. Oregon doesn’t have sales tax and California doesn’t tax any grocery food. Maybe this is a discussion for the state you live in, not the whole USA.

It’s the same stuff on Amazon. Will it help with that too?

Emby is a cousin of Jellyfin that supports DVR functionality. I have successfully recorded from IPTV streams, which shouldn’t be too different from a tuner card. The main thing is it needs to load the programming information from somewhere.

I think it would be cool if you were writing a ransom note on your computer, if the paper clip popped up and said, 'Looks like you're writing a ransom note. Need help? You should use more forceful language, you'll get more money.'

Yes but in Immich each user has their own independent album/gallery, whereas Piwigo is a single gallery with different access rights to users.

Nobody is making you get a brain chip. Noland did the research, talked about it with his family, and wanted to proceed in spite of the fully disclosed risks. Bodily autonomy is a fundamental human right - if you want to do something or have something done to your body it's not the governments place to stop you. Safeguards are necessary, and they do exist. You don't need laws to make sure everybody has the same risk tolerance as you. I can't fully imagine what it would be like to have no use of my body and no hope of recovery. But I wouldn't want people like you or me who aren't in my shoes deciding what I can and can't do. Honestly if he wanted to have a lethal injection, I believe he should be allowed to make that decision, but he can't. I'm happy he was able to make some kind of decision, and regain some autonomy, if only temporarily, and not just be a vegetable head in a bed for the rest of his life.

Coconut water

Also if you really need some to prevent a migraine, try a quarter tsp of epsom salt dissolved in a few oz of warm water. Tastes bad but it’s magnesium sulfate.

Kodi played through the browser? It’s probably transcoding to H.264, using more bandwidth for lesser quality.

I’m running Emby with 4k content from an Odroid HC-2. If you have a 4k TV it should support the H.265 codec without transcoding so the resources for sending videos is low.
