Xubuntu, Kubuntu, and Open Media Vault (based on Debian)

I'm thinking of just using Debian on most of my machines in the future, just have to go through the effort to switch.

I just have a stock of frozen, and then buy fresh when I plan to make a specific dish that's worth the effort.

I love Linux. I prefer it to windows, but windows is fine. Unfortunately, there are some programs I use that don't work properly under linux, primarily Microsoft office, but also some games here and there. I'm sure that I could get those games working under linux, but it's more work. I use linux at work, and windows at home at the moment, but I prefer linux and am very comfortable with both.

There is now though. So why not federate again?

The idea of freedom of religion but not enforcing your religion in others seems painfully obvious.

That seems extreme...

Well, #1 is kind of impossible now. Different people can have the same ID on different instances.

#2, unless they really want to just be their own separate community completely, like an entirely different website, then yeah of course. That's the point. Regarding the current major defederation, my understanding is that this not meant to be permanent and is a different situation. It's a workaround basically.
