Understood, but in the context of a coffee shop in an anglophone place it has a different agreed upon meaning.

Alcohol. Last drink was 42 days ago. I was getting very drunk every day for years. I feel pretty good right now, getting therapy to work through the issues that I was self-medicating. Also making some big positive changes.

I guess it's too early to say with confidence that I "kicked" it, but I haven't gone this long without a drink for a very long time and I'm determined to never touch alcohol again.

I wonder if any Lemmy servers run on Windows without WSL. I can't think of any hard dependencies on Linux, so it should be possible.

I live in Pennsylvania. I will not be voting for Joe Biden.

It definitely has many compromises and I wouldn't use it for hosting something in production or something like that. (Is that something people do?) It is situationally very useful though, usually for things I used to spin up a VM for. I'm happy to have it available as a tool when I need to use Windows.

I think if you blocked the person who posted this you'd see a big reduction. It's usually the same account posting Musk news.

I've been loving Kagi, but I have no particular need for their browser.

ETA: Oh, I see it's only for iOS and macOS anyway. Maybe that ecosystem needed it, but I wouldn't know.

I've been pretty satisfied with Kagi. Not free though.

Flying is such a miserable experience from start to finish that I would opt for rail every time if it was viable, even if it took 3-4 times as long.
