Nothing. It's a meme from 1999 prior to the American presidential election in 2020.

Bernie Sanders used the Scandinavian countries as reference for his progressive social-democratic politics. Fox News attacked it by comparing it to Venezuela. The Clickhole website by the Onion ran the pictured satirical article to highlight the absurdity of the Fox News claims.

Ok, get this. You elect politicians to "help slash federal spending".

What the hell is Musk even doing and why is he outsourcing this job to unpaid idiots, when politicians already get paid to do this?

Okay, I'll do a few suggestions for free:

  • Stop subsidizing companies. All of them.
  • Tax the rich to boost the federal income.
  • Legalize all immigrants so they can be tax paying citizens.
  • Crack down on employers using illegal underpaid illegal immigrants.
  • Provide universal health care. Sick people don't work.
  • Cut down on police force spending.
  • Cut down on car infrastructure spending.
  • Cut down "defense" spending in artificial oil wars.
  • Help Ukraine to defeat Russia, so Russia will have to surrender and disarm their nukes, so that USA can also cut down on cost for maintenance of nukes.
  • Expand renewable energy. It's free energy yo, and it creates jobs for tax paying citizens.
  • Stop mining fossil fuels. It will cost more to clean that shit up than is earned.

While I can believe that some of the men were of the impression that it was part of a roleplay of some sort if told so by the husband, the simple thing is that she did not consent. It's rape.

There is no situation in which the decision of consent can be transferred to anyone else.

Didn't they at some point argue that they didn't own the data, because that would make them liable for the data?

All the illegal stuff on Reddit now belongs to Reddit?

Technically they're "downcyclable". The materials can be separated and used for other purposes, but they're not "cycled" back into being another tetrapak.

It's also a very energy intensive procedure so even if it's possible to use some of the materials again, it's by no means as environmentally friendly as products that can be recycled for their purpose. Take for instance glass bottles and aluminium cans, they can both be recycled into glass bottles and aluminium cans.

Some places also reuse glass bottles by cleaning them. This also costs energy, but not as much as grinding it down and heating it to produce new glass.

Aluminium cans are probably the best single use beverage container as of now.

The best one is not to get one in the first place. Reduce, reuse, recycle, reclaim.

Tetrapak is in the "reclaim".

Carrying a personal reusable water bottle is a good idea, because it reduces the production of singular use containers.

The boat will be fine. It'll be under water and the people have a problem, but the boat will be fine.

The consequences are unpredictable. More extreme weather is about the only certainty.

The energy of the heat transfer will not just be missing in Europe. It'll also be in excess in the Caribbeans, perhaps creating stronger winds worldwide.

Imagine a house with water radiators, where you turn off the circulation pump while keeping the furnace on full blast. It's gotta go somewhere.

If those were the terms you signed, those are the terms that matter.

Yeah yeah yeah, standard response. It won't work. People won't come forward and nothing can/will be done if anyone does come forward. It'll just be awkward for them for a while. Maybe someone will get blamed, fired or resigning ... and then... it'll happen again.

The damage is already done. There's no way to undo it.

They can't handle this by just asking people to snitch. Allowing or encouraging individuals to snitch on other individuals is not the way to stop this.

The proper way for a company to handle harassment cases is to prevent them from happening in the first place.

The proper damage control is to admit that they didn't do enough to prevent it from happening and then tell everyone about how they're going to follow proper OSHA guidance from here on. Let's hear about how they let their employees elect a representative and how they plan to implement preventive actions, and what the procedure is to handle any potential situations before they escalate into a shit show like this.

I guess their union representative could have told them this a long time ago, but hey, they don't have one, because they also thought they could handle everything without any. Look at where that got them.

That is the answer.

Some boards will prompt you to press the key to enter the BIOS as the only option when the CMOS battery is flat. Whether or not you set the clock, you still have to enter the bios to boot.

The battery is a standard CR2032, so it's easy to replace, but it's not something that most people experience, so it's not common knowledge.

Personally I went about 6 months doing the same thing before I even bothered googling "how much does a CMOS battery cost" because it was an old pc anyway.
