I have, unfortunately they're too expensive for me.

Preferably an application that you can sync and save. Not sure what alternatives are safe in terms of privacy and security.

Forgive me for this stupid question. I just transitioned from iPhone to Pixel (GrapheneOS) and I'm curious why there isn't a built in PDF viewer like on iPhone? It feels like you have to open things externally pretty often, but I figure there's a reason for that. I haven't used Android in many years and I recently developed an interest for the technical aspects of things, so again, do forgive this beginners question.

Cheers y'all!

Curious what people think.

Do you think using the GrapheneOS operative system is useless if the user plans to/needs to install Play Store apps anyway?

I think I'm not alone in feeling this way, but sometimes I feel a sense of imposter syndrome because I'm not perfectly private and am dependent on some Play Store apps. This has caused me to question if the transition to GOS is meaningful at all.

Feel free to share your opinion. Cheers! ...posted from my GrapheneOS Pixel.

I have not any prior experience with installing custom ROMs, but after trying it out (and getting stuck, and googling and finding answers) I successfully did it. Below is my home screen if anybody is curious:

I use OpenBoard for my keyboard. Unfortunately I am still dependent on Play Store since some of the apps I need can only be found there. Sometimes it feels meaningless committing to this whole thing because I'm not perfectly private; then I think this is better than using a regular iPhone or Android phone.

So far I'm liking it. I am naturally inclined to feel hesitant about using this as my main phone and plugging in a SIM since it's custom, but I'm slowly making the transition.

Feel free to share any beginners advice or your own experience using GOS for the first time. Cheers!

I can’t upload the images here for some reason so I can describe what I’m seeing.

In the Sensors list, I am seeing stuff like “3 Button Navigation Bar” “Android Easter Egg” “Android Shared Library” “Android System Angle.” In Networks I am seeing url-like names like “com.android.federatedcom[…]” “com.android.sdksandbox” “DeviceLockController.”

Is this malware? Is this virus? Is this safe or how do I remove them? Is it after I installed a sandboxed version of Play Store? I have spent all evening working on GOS and I am exhausted and the physical SIM card won’t work and I’m driving myself mad and it feels like nothing is working or I did something wrong and I can’t undo it. I just need some guidance please.

Been stuck in this place for a while now. I checked for Windows updates and installed the Android LeMobile driver a few minutes ago. Should I wait until the bootloader interface appears or do I press “reboot system / reboot to bootloader interface”?

*audiobook; corrected

Do they do anything particular with their voice or tone in order to enhance the story?

I mean movies that are just like regular modern comedy movies but take place in a historical setting. Some examples include “The Little Hours” and “A Million Ways to Die in the West.” Furthermore, does anybody have any more examples of movies like these?

This is mainly directed towards those who have many and broad interests, who have somehow found a way to balance all of them more or less equally.

How do you manage to balance all of your interests that are so equal from each other? As somebody who plans to become a psychologist but is also interested in ethology, zoomorphology, archeology, and fashion history, how can I possibly engage in all of these things? Study independent courses? Watch Youtube videos on the subjects?

It just feels like there’s so little time but so much to do and explore.

You know how, today, we take inspiration or look up to “classic” films like The Godfather and The Shawshank Redemption? Well, what did people in the 80s/90s look up to? 70s movies? Black and white movies? What were seen as classics back then?

British vs American spelling, no?

Yeah. Incredibly horrific.

It helps that he has more sensical views compared to the other 2 big ones.

”Do you miss the person or do you miss the memories?”

It really helps me get over friendship breakups and cope in a more reasonable way, since most of the time I just miss the memories associated with the person.

Kudos for the honesty.

The worst part is that it’s not only Americans who are Trumpists. We’re Swedish and my mother looks up to that prick. How and why, I don’t know.

Words can’t describe how much I love this tweet.

Lol, can I answer this even though I don’t have a Beehaw account anymore?

It’s ok. But it’s been hot weather, like summer. I want winter and the cold to come already. I have gotten started with a programming course in C#, some tasks are difficult but it’s fun problem-solving. School is ok, my classmates are nice but unfortunately I don’t seem to have much in common with most/any of them.

All in all, things are going alright. I remade all of my Spotify playlists which has been therapeutic. Now I’m just chilling, school is draining sometimes. But life is ok. 👍
