really rough to use honestly. I'd rather use non-FOSS (on shape) while I wait for this to hit the "blender inflection point" and actually get good.

I'm not sure how innovative this is since even Microsoft teams has this but I agree with the sentiment

Copy-pasting this from a comment I made a few days ago. I’m so tired of this misconception. Google’s business model literally disincentivizes selling personal data. The business model is built on selling targeted advertisements. Google wants to keep this data to itself because it gives them a competitive advantage in the ad space.

Selling your data would give competitors power in the marketplace. So yes, Google collects data and uses it, but no, Google does not sell your data. It sells targeting BASED on your data.

Very different, regardless of if it is any better.

YouTube streams are so good. Google really has the video streaming tech stack nailed

I'm currently applying for jobs and I don't even bother with unreasonable ranges. I have a target salary so I won't play games if the low end of your range is half that.

I don't mean to stir up anything, this is entirely respectful (remove this if it isn't, no worries), but it is useful for someone who knew who someone named "Anthony" was, despite the fact that they don't exist anymore. I guess it doesn't matter, but I immediately was able to understand who they were talking about since I didn't know she had transitioned. Is there a better way to approach providing this context?

Well, it's better than the previous ones imo

I would like to recommend "Piston" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.clockworkbits.piston as well. It is the only app I found that feels modern and well-built vs all other OBD2 apps looking like they're 6+ years old

If you're looking for an equivalent camera, the easy bet is a Google Pixel. Personally, I think the photos are way better on the Pixel, although iPhones tend to do video better

Motorola was great before Lenovo bought them.. Used to be a bit of a fan until they fucked me over trying not to honor the warranty. Sent my phone in for repair, they claimed the screen was broken and I'd have to pay hundreds for a replacement. I asked for proof, they sent me a photo. The phone in the photo was the entirely wrong color even. Took weeks of repeat calling and a very stern letter to finally get them to honor the warranty. Stuff like this puts companies on my "blocklist" permanently. They will never get my money again

There are more Android devices, so I'm optimistic Google's alternative could be great
