Work gave me a bag of lollies for R U Ok day and it's mostly those hard lollies that shred your tongue to pieces.

So 'if you are ok, you won't be' is what they're saying.

It's absurd that you can work your ass off and have your mark lowered because of someone else.

I was not expecting clear skies, no wind and sun today. Especially after yesterday.

Urgh, what happened to the nice weather these past two days?

In between reading adult books, I tend to read some Goosebumps or Fear Street as a palate cleanser and also remind me of my childhood and also get me in the mood writing that kind of horror for kids.

Currently reading one of the Fear Street books and the main character wakes up thinking someone is trying to break in because of the news saying there's a prowler breaking into houses. She screams, her parents come in, turns out it's the classic tree branch tapping on the window. So then the Dad takes her into their bedroom, opens the bedside table and shows her the gun he has to protect them from any intruders and how 'it's always loaded' and 'right here' and I know it's blatantly Chekhov's Gun but as I read it, I couldn't help but laugh and think 'this is so America.'

Started watching Fake and it opens up on the bridge just outside of Flinders st station crossing the Yarra.

  1. It makes me a bit homesick

  2. It's weird seeing places I walked daily for work in a tv show.

I'm pretty sure the train line she rides on is one of the northern lines too.

This is going to sound really dumb, but I am planning to call our Employee Assistant Program cos I really do need someone to talk too and I'm good and I want to do it, but then I think about calling and I don't know what to say when they answer the phone. How to initiate that initial 'Hello, welcome to blah blah, how can I help you?' kinda of greeting.

My second horror movie set at camp was Stage Fright starring Minnie Driver for all of 2 seconds and Meatloaf fresh from his Grand Final performance.

Set at a musical theatre camp, the killer hates musical theatre and wears a Wish version of the ghost face mask and it's pretty obvious who it is under the mask. Motivations are nonsensical as well. But the musical parts were rather catchy.

4/10 for mine.

My ex-MIL had such a weird obsession with having a photo of all the grandkids together in the bath. So so weird.

I have COVID (I blame you Melbourne!) and while I am feeling better I am still a little foggy brained and I have to do a CASPER test tonight for my uni degree and I am stressing big time because I don't do well with scenario based questions at the best of times and with my practise I've been doing my thoughts aren't concise atm with covid brain.

And it's also freezing cold so my fingers don't work.

Breathe. Breathe. Breathe.
