Step 1. Built Internet to get away from TV

Step 2. Corporate Greed TV moves over and ruins Internet.

Step 3. Build New Internet to escape Old Internet Ruined by TV bloodsuckers.

Step 4. Go back to step 2 and replace tech names with next itteration.

I'm just surprised Pidgin hasn't been rewritten from the ground up by now. Some of the available messengers and logos in the app don't even exist anymore.

Yes. Less blobs than ARM. I'm not even sure if some RISC-V have any blobs -- someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Also getting cockblocked by proprietaryisms is bullshit. HDMI is a Circle Jerk of capitalism controlling competition and the market for self preservation.

HDMI is proprietary, so keep in mind that if anyone is ahead it's because HDMI cock blocked AMD.

That said, Display Port is superior as it's not proprietary so the sooner we move away from HDMI the better for all.

Other factors you may consider are -- can you wait to see? Does it make sense to buy for features that haven't been delivered yet and might not be as advertised? Only you can answer for you.

I agree, however in the same spirit of email I would be pissed if Gmail blocked AOL or Yahoo suddenly someday "coz reasons" -- I prefer to stick to the 'federate all the things' plan -- let the baddies fail because they suck

Soooo the data on your phone isn't gone because you delete or reset the phone. You literally need to write a blob of zeros or random numbers to fill the space again.

And even that is questionable as there are areas of the storage you are not allowed to write too -- and those areas could contain identifiable data like contacts, SMS, etc...

Just a FYI

In my experience the default thermal pads have always been trash.

Learning curve? I've meant to get around to it but my to do list is pretty big so far.

Nix is on the destinations to visit but the configurations are still confusing at a glance.
