He's such an attention-hungry dork it makes him very easy to hate on.

This is an awful policy. Want to give a tax cut to working people? Raise the standard deduction by a few thousand and bump up the taxes on the highest bracket by a bit (or preferably a lot). That will give a cut to untipped hospitality workers as well.

"Mr. President, the terrorists have taken hostages. What should we do?" "Bomb the building." -A psychopath

Not everyone fell for the lies. It's a re-writing of history to suggest that everyone was all aboard with the war in Iraq. That war was preceded by the largest protests ever to occur up until that point. I personally recall Hans Blix, the UN official responsible for weapons inspections in Iraq at that time, repeatedly telling us that there was no evidence of such weapons programs. The New York Times should presumably be at least as questioning as my, at the time, 18 year old self. Particularly since I turned out to be right.

Are there no laws about public officials accepting gifts from the community there? Or, you know, bribery? I've had public service jobs a lot less important than that and I'd have had a big headache accepting a $25 gift card from a community member let alone an additional yearly salary.

It was a Fox News interview. If the person who did the interview came off well they wouldn't have bothered airing it. Hell, if the person they interviewed didn't come off the way they did they wouldn't have bothered interviewing them.

However, there is already a crowded field of Republicans running to replace Buck,

The most important sentence of the article. She can switch districts if she wants. Can she win a primary?

Ben Shapiro, Steven Crowder, Dinesh D'Souza, and Peter Hitchens among names you may have heard of.

As well as an endless supply of idiots on web forums throughout the last 30+ years.

This is the right's favourite lie to distance themselves from the natural end result of their ideology.

This isn't a conflict that was going on in the Ottoman period. This is a recent conflict and this attempt to turn it into a thousands year old religious war is bullshit. This is a colonial project where the goal is to take land. Very material in nature. That project has been in place since 1948.

Just further up the post I saw you commenting suggesting that you didn't know these guys blocked off an entire section of a city? Shouldn't you acquaint yourself with the situation to some degree before having an opinion on it?
