Once lemm.ee can host larger images, I believe this will become the best instance on lemmy

[-] gsa4555@lemm.ee 6 points 1 year ago

Nice! The only issue is the extremely small size limit of images, but still a great instance

Sure, I'd be more than happy to become mod and enforce the rules here.

if people & companies want to move their servers to some place in Europe that actually respects freedom and people.

implying the EU respects freedom

The problem is where? The EU is trying to apply similar censorship via the DSA, Russia we all know is LGBTphobic and not truly for free speech, Canada is a joke, and China is lol. Not even sure if Japan is viable.

True, but I think 3 hours is a bit long. I would go for spreading out every 30 minutes-1 hour, maybe 1.5 hours.

Hopefully, once lemmy/kbin becomes more active, this would no longer be an issue,

[-] gsa4555@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago

lol at kbin's front page

Yes! Hoping to grow smaller lemmy communities by crossposting to as many communities of the said topic as possible.

Personally, I would rather see hexbear stay federated. I've never run into problems with their users and a few annoying trolls does not define a community. I would be disappointed if this instance starts defederating from instances that don't break any local or international laws.
