I'm glad you liked it!
NixOS is exactly what you want.
You declare your configs in a way that you can just copy them to another computer and it willbe configured the same way.
I've never tried it my self, but I might for my next machine.
Snyggt!
Bonus pic! Very similar indeed! Might be built by the same company or something?
I set the exposure time to 6 seconds and used a very small aperture. The ambulance being too dark and also moving too much makes it not "stick" on the photo. But the flashing blue lights stick despite moving because they emit a lot of light. You can also see the people in the background were not completely still, so they are all blurry.
It was shot with a pretty high ISO (3200), so the grain is just noise. I have applied some noise reduction, but didn't want to lose to much detail, so there is some left in there.
I think it has to do with creativity!
The CLI tools are just small simple tools. The power comes from having the understanding of how each tool works and how they can be combined.
I don't remember this string of commands, I know docker, awk and xargs. When I need this, that is the solution I always end up with.
Hol' up..
How did you know this was in Oslo? Or was it just a strange coincidence? This is on the roof of the Oslo opera building.
Thank you for your reply. I think I'll check if there is any local photography shop or studio that would be able to fix it for me. Feels like a safer bet.
I shot it with my Nikon D3200. Old cheap second hand DSLR camera 😄
