I know people like the originals more than the newer ones, but I really enjoyed those too, I really love Adam Jensen and all the stereotypes on him, and Mankind Divided ended in a huge cliffhanger. I guess I'll never know how it ends =/

We're Xennials, sir/ma'am. Best microgeneration! And I agree, in fact when I was younger I was more conservative, now in my very early 40s I'm a filthy progressive, especially in the social sense.

My experience is exactly the same. I find people way more toxic here, and way more extreme discussions. I still reddit more on my PC, RES makes reddit worthwhile, and I'm unsubbed to most of the very popular subreddits, so my feed is mostly tailored to my hobbies and interests, which don't seem to be either very active here, or don't exist yet.

Since I don't reddit on my phone anymore cause I can't use RIF, I use kbin. But it's rather lackluster to me.

Too bad their mobile app is the worst thing I've ever seen in my life regarding streaming services. I know people like to rag on Netflix, at least their app is top notch. How can a big company like HBO have such a piece of crap software when dozens of better examples to copy from already exist is beyond me.

You're forgiven. I know I'm not the only person though, I'm Chilean and we love putting mayo on everything over there. I'm just deranged to the rest of the world lol.

Excellent! I thought I was the only deranged person who loves freshly cooked rice with some mayo. I've noticed a lot of people really look down on mayonnaise for some reason, when all it is, is some egg and oil, salt optional but great IMO, and some lemon juice to complement, also optional. I feel that just goes really well with a starch like rice!

That movie has plenty of good stuff, but the protagonists ruin everything. Their interactions are so awkward, they have zero chemistry considering they're a couple, and they freaking look like teenagers when they should look like adults. That soured my enjoyment of that movie a lot. Everything else was pretty decent, it makes for a good scifi action film imo. I like cheese so I'm not bothered by that.

I'm a huge 5th element fan, and I was expecting something like that. I mostly got it, but Willis+Jojovich was a muuuuch better pairing.

Hah I was thinking about that one, I played the three of them (I think that's all of them?) way back in the early 90s. What a novel concept, a jungle lady saving a prince!

Well the article says it's mostly caused by an underwater volcano's emission that happened last year, that's just reaching now the south pole, and concentrating there atm because of how winds work due to Earth's rotation.

Everybody is blaming anything they can, and not even bothering reading the news. Pretty on par with the internet.

I read somewhere that we have more bacteria in/on our bodies than actual cells containing out own DNA, so really, who's the pet here?

Ingress > Pokemon GO

Well I haven't played in years, but I was super active in Ingress right until Pokemon Go became a thing. I found it so fun and innovative, and PG felt like Ingress with a skin, so it didn't hold my attention at all.
