Remember, of course, that Wickr has been owned by Amazon since 2021.

Last I heard, the CCP did a bit of social engineering and got a load of TikTokkers to post videos in juggalo makeup in order to retrain their facial recognition software.

I don't recall if it was successful, but it happened.

I'm looking to buy a router for home use, on which I plan to install OpenWRT. After some research, I have come across the TP-LINK Archer AX23, which checks all of the boxes I have:

  • [x] Comparatively low price

  • [x] Supports WPA3

  • [x] Supported by OpenWRT

  • [x] Has at least three LAN ports

However, before I and my dad go and buy one, it has to pass the final test: the forums.

Has anyone used this router before? What was your experience? Can I do better, or have I found the best router ever made? Please share your thoughts.

Also, Albafetch does not yet feature the openSUSE logo. I am in the process of trying to implement this, which is how I have it on my system.

You are absolutely correct. The stupidity here, though, is that word got out that Trump uses them, and that has caused a lot of his supporters to start wearing them, whether they need to or not.

I'd recommend FreeTube.

It has its own backend, but it can also use Invidious. As such, you can also run NewLeaf (an Invidious-compatible YouTube scraper based on the NewPipe scraper) in the background and connect to it via FreeTube, and that should work.

Either bring a burner phone, or make sure you disable biometrics before you land. You could also consider wiping the phone and then restoring from a backup later on.

Also, learn about your constitutional rights and any relevant state laws (e.g. the CCPA in California). You probably won't have to mention them, but they're good to know.

If there's anyone out there still using Windows or who otherwise needs an antivirus, just use ClamAV. It's free and open-source, does a pretty good job of finding viruses, can be run as a daemon, and is extensible.

Want a different index? Fangfrisch. Want a GUI? ClamTk. Using Windows? ClamWin.

I honestly find it so strange that it took me around eight years to discover that this was a thing. I was forced to use McAfee, Norton, Kaspersky, BitDefender, and all of the worst AV software on the market before I eventually switched to Linux.

For example, there could be an important announcement from a content creator or business that you couldn't find elsewhere.

It's surprising how many people and places are only on one social (or antisocial) media.

Have you tried using Proton through Steam? It's possible to load in external games and programs.
