I'm sorry, are you saying that a pipeline from the great lakes to Los Angeles would have to go through less mountains than from British Columbia?

* gestures vaguely at the entire mountain west *

My Mazda has the same controls and I've never really felt like they're hard to find. The button layout makes a lot of sense and the large center wheel is easy to find so you can use it as a reference point to find the other buttons easily (I pretty much just use the home and music buttons and that volume knob).

There's no need to make these things Big Tech, so if that's why you are opposed to it, reconsider what you are actually opposed to. This could be implemented in a FOSS way or an open standard.

So you not trust HTTPS because you'd have to trust big tech? Microsoft and Google and others sign the certificates you use to trust that your are sending your password to your bank and not a phisher. Like how any browser can see and validate certificates, any camera could have a validation or certificate system in place to prove that the data is straight from an unmodified validated camera sensor.

This is from 2022, it is not news. Are there any more recent articles on this? How'd it go?

I'm not saying they should be rewarded but the penalty should be removed. I'm not saying people should go give it a positive review if they didn't already have one, I do think the negative reviews should at least be removed. If Sony reneges then there will obviously be a huge backlash again and "we ain't gon get fooled again".

Sorry homie the cities have the jobs. People need to be able to afford to live near where they work for our economy to function well. They need to be able to buy stuff to support other jobs nearby. It's a virtuous cycle when it works, but housing costs sap that money away.

What all these articles miss is that the guy made less money working on this case than he did in private practice the year before. Dude was a partner at a law firm, government work doesn't pay well at all.

Nah the Navy and the Marines are both under the Department of the Navy, but they do way different things. Marines mostly get rides from the Navy and the Navy don't fuck with land, they let the crayon eaters do that.

My grocery store's frozen crap has never been as good, interesting, or inexpensive as it is at Trader Joe's. It's not that the stuff there is great or cheap, but there's a bit of variety that is harder to find in the Krogers and Safeways and they do switch things up so every few months there are new options. For me, between variety and C quality, vs the same basic American stuff and somewhere between F to B quality, I'll take the former. That's why I don't really get frozen stuff at Costco.

In beer form, it's a bout a pint per day. Not too bad actually. I probably average close to that, since I'll have a can of beer most nights, and a few pints and/or cocktails on weekends.
