You’re saying they still need taxes, just with extra steps.

For me the biggest thing would be apps. No way I’d want to re-buy all my apps on the play store.

But it’s NOT a capacity problem. The phone would turn off and then turn back on. The batteries still had power.

It’s funny you say I am less technical when I describe the exact technical reason for a shutdown. You just keep saying the same thing.

It’s a chemical aging issue with batteries. As they age they cannot provide the same amount of current at the same charge level.

Current draw is not even close to steady, there are lots of spikes. It’s the spike that is a problem.

If you had a new battery that had say 500mAh of charge remaining the issue wouldn’t happen. If you had an old battery with 2000mAh of charge remaining it’s very possible the issue happens.

Hopefully this is a simple way to describe to you that capacity does not matter. It’s all about current.

That’s not what’s happening.

If someone spends all of their credit limit just because it’s there, there is no one to blame but that person.

You don’t need to be on android to play pirated music. OP clearly is more interested in supporting the artists.

We should definitely be assaulting people that do things completely harmless to us, just because we don’t like it.

I mean, yeah, you can find people who believed in them. But the general consensus around all those products was they are too expensive, don’t offer any meaningful upgrades over current tech, or are just useless and no one will want them.

I’ve been reading MacRumours forums since before the iPhone launch and it’s always the same thing regarding new products. Without using them, people can have an hard time seeing the positives. I think that issue is even bigger now with the Vision Pro.

The savings is your time. It’s generally much faster to go self checkout, especially for small purchases.

MacOS is actually much more open than most people think. There’s a lot of protections for the average user but if you know what you’re doing it can all be bypassed.
