Wonder if the cops will show up in force next time there's a protest at his Berlin factory.

Everyone hates them and they have no idea why. Must be anti-Semitism.

Yep, same with all the other surveillance stuff they passed over the years. Now they're being all panicky about Trump having access to this entire surveillance apparatus, and all we can say is: we told you motherfuckers this would happen, and you voted for it anyway.

If someone had specialised skills that are in demand, they should be granted the freedom of permanent residency and not be tied to one specific employer. The whole concept is exploitative.

Democrats have never ever even threatened to use the debt ceiling to shut down the government. It's a strategy that only works for Republicans because they're fine with government not working and poor people not getting their social security checks. If Democrats did it, it would backfire on them. Besides, Republicans have a trifecta, the only way the government shuts down is if they can't agree amongst themselves.

I'm assuming he means backend frameworks, like Ruby on Rails, Codeigniter, CakePHP, etc. That fits the timeframe, I think?

FFS, why don't you lean into this conversation with your own take instead? They depress wages for Americans/permanent visa holders and they're exploitative towards the ones holding the H1B Visa. There's an easy progressive case to make to get rid of this entire visa class, and find some common ground with some of the frustrations of the Trump base who will be looking for an alternative when Trump inevitably betrays his promises.

I swear Democrats just don't want to win elections or something. This Visa thing is part of the class war, it's in the news, fucking talk about it and show you have ideas.

Edit: after reading the article, many of the people mentioned in the article are making this exact point, I guess the editor writing the headline didn't read the article.

Nah, it'll just make insurance more expensive and allow them to have more excuses to deny claims. Giving insurance companies more data to work with is never a good thing.

They could probably live in some sort of witness protection situation in South Korea, but I guess that's still a shitty life if you want to see your family again.

Not after that debate performance.

And fuck Biden for picking a Republican as AG.
