Sticker repository? lol, Telegram has that market cornered and you know it :)

https://matrix.org/ is probably the only reasonable solution to your problem but reading between the lines you're inferring that Telegram is dead in the water.

I'm a popcorn fanantic and await to see the, corns?

I thought I was a bit of a negative nancy but you take the cake 😆

I keep pondering why Android has blobs for CIFS/SMB but not NFS, too.

Still haven't found a legit reason why.

Seems a bit dubious doesn't it, especially since they'd be compromising any investigation by Tweeting about it in the first place.

Hold on a second Mister OP, you missed the most important pros and cons.

Has an IR Blaster thank fuck, but, is missing a 3.5mm jack and SDCard.

I know these "cons" are meme complaints by now and while I've actually used Bluetooth earbuds before Android was a thing (see, jackless Sony Walkman W850....), but feel you should be including them as cons since many revel for those simple hardware bonuses we're used to from Xiaomi.

Alas :(

I'd posit those numbers are much, much higher, and some guys who used to do our Megathreads over in r/Android now keep getting random bots commenting against months, even years old posts - https://archive.is/OmW0f

I spotted em years ago over in their many test subreddits and reddit actually outsourced them as a QA testing.

I've never used an eSIM but have used and liked having dual physical SIM's.

But I've also lost a phone now (first time for everything 😡) and can kinda see the bonus of eSIM's in that regard instead of having to wait a couple of days for a replacement.

*further edit: please be aware of sending bug reports to random websites.

Bug reports contain pretty much all your PII

You don't need to pay a subscription fee for cloud storage when it's super simple to host your own, and Android allows the mounting of different filesystems too.

SMB on a rasp pi + cheapo storage + Tailscale, all the way to paying £$€ for a dedicated NAS enclosure with as much storage as you can afford also with Tailscale?

Yup, fuck subscription fees.

You also can then use the corporate cloud storage providers like G/ProtonDrive etc to use their free offerings for off site backup of the most important data.

Why not, post something here that's like you say pretty niche and generates discussion about it?

If it wasn't posted here I wouldn't have heard about it and why I subscribe to such places for news on these devices.

That's just bait asking to be stolen.

Hazard a guess, those users are on Android 7 or less and as per the description of the Play Store listing

If your device is running Android 7 or an earlier version, it will not receive an update for this app. This app may indicate that it is not compatible with your device, but this does not mean that the app is malfunctioning or causing your device to malfunction.

This is making them take to the Play Store perhaps? Thing is, the app is showing last updated in Feb 2023 for me so, I dunno.
