They can be. Because of course there are poorly made commercial units that are only quiet because they have low CADR. But you'll never be able to get a DIY box as quiet as a well made unit, unless you basically engineer your own air purifier device, use blower motors, etc., but that's not a Corsi-Rosenthal Box.

Ironically, I didn't read this. But, I think the premise is dubious in that text is only a medium. Hell, text itself can range from tabloid articles to research papers.
How is "reading" any different from "watching", or "listening"? It's all about quality of the material, not how to consume the media.

Comment search would be a game changer. I've tried so many apps for Lemmy for this reason.

Bit off topic: Post search is also not great because it only looks for exact phrase (not disparate terms), but some apps don't have search at all so it's better than nothing.

Even a basic comment search that only searches exact phrase would be better than no comment search.
