I used to listen to it religiously. He had a few fucked up views but in a long form podcast it used to get washed out. Like his universal basic income views and then him platforming Stefan something ... (like an incel cult leader). In the latter case he thought it was better to bring someone on with opposing views and then see them get flushed out over time and in that case, you see it exposed.

I think what Joe didn't anticipate was that his desire to be a contrarian and find the viewpoints away from the mainstream, so much so, that it did him a disservice. He doesn't have the mental defenses up to put up with the propaganda he was inflicted upon. He became the 'Joe Rogan questions everything' guy to 'Joe Rogan believes anything' guy.

I had it when he became fully antivax and wishes he would just go away now.

I actually still like some LTT videos. I just find the thumbnails off-putting ... so unless the topic interests me I don't typically watch anymore.

I really enjoyed the Emily/Anthony bits too.

I've had too many bad experiences with the "cash only", "I'm not going that way".

I put my friend in a cab in London who was too drunk. I prepaid the cabbie and then he woke my friend up after he took him back and shook him down for cash.

Yeah, no thanks to cabbies.

Haven't heard of that phrase but it's an apt analogy for my fellow Brits. Same with Brexit. Wasn't till afterwards did they realize that what they voted for and were upset. Heaven forbid you listen to those warning you about it.

Rob Corddry did a Daily Show interview way back about the pharmacist and birth control (the abortion pill). The pharmacist kept saying about his right were being violated when the courts said he had to go against his beliefs. Rob sarcastically says (I'm paraphrasing), "yeah, how can they push their beliefs on you! that's your job to do the customer!"

Topher's wife put out a statement in support of the victims. Which is where the support should be, in my opinion.

After requesting a formal meeting with HR over email, they say Granet-Bederman put them on a performance-improvement plan — a step before disciplinary action, including termination. They say they were surprised to learn Granet-Bederman wasn’t happy with their performance up until that point. The employee says they heard from HR afterward, and then in a subsequent meeting with HR reps for NBC, they shared their issues and concerns, including that they were experiencing suicidal ideation. They say they later saw an email exchange between HR and Granet-Bederman, which was reviewed by Rolling Stone, in which the HR rep denigrated the employee to Granet-Bederman.

NEVER TRUST HR

I see this as an endorsement!

Remember that this fuckwit said that woke was horrible because RDJ couldn't release a movie where he plays a Mexican and that woke controlled everything. When someone replied that women just lost the right to get an abortion in the supreme Court to put into perspective who really has control here his reply was an emphatic: "I don't care because the movie would have been awesome!!"
