"I'm fine."

The problem is I keep repeating the same lie.

"Near limitless energy". ..

OK what are the limits? Preferably absurd answers please..

Model is the right term instead of database.

We learned something about how LLMs work with this.. its like a bunch of paintings were chopped up into pixels to use to make other paintings. No one knew it was possible to break the model and have it spit out the pixels of a single painting in order.

I wonder if diffusion models have some other wierd querks we have yet to discover

Given the recent controversy, it calls into question the definition of the word 'buy.'

GOG is the only one that I know of too.

This is going to be really high cost though. If only there was a way to move people en masse around a city, with a reliable and frequent service, funded by tax payer dollars so the cost for an individual is extremely low and affordable..

Alas, no such thing has ever been invented.

The older I get the more I tend towards blaming the people being scammed for being stupid enough to be scammed.

$35 Apple watch, really?? You thought that was real?? Well boy do I have an exiled African prince to introduce you to!

Is anyone able to point me in the right direction to solve this issue please?

I installed the nvidia-beta drivers (Arch) and tested out Starfield. All is good. Then next time I try to startx, I get X failed to start etc.

Following the logs I get to:

` [ 1711.739] (II) NVIDIA dlloader X Driver 545.23.06 Sun Oct 15 17:26:55 UTC 2023

...

[ 1711.740] (EE) NVIDIA: Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel module. Please see the

[ 1711.740] (EE) NVIDIA: system's kernel log for additional error messages and

[ 1711.740] (EE) NVIDIA: consult the NVIDIA README for details.

`

Wierd. Install nvidia instead, y to remove conflicts/nvidia-utils etc, and it's all working. Try to install beta drivers again, same issue, rebooted, etc.

The beta drivers definitely did work. But now they magically aren't.

Any tips?

I did try running sudo mkinitcpio -P but no change.

A two+ hour drive would really take it out of me. I would often have to stop and have a 10 minute nap.

I've found meds have really helped, I still feel tired, but I don't have to sleep afterwards or take naps.

Same with riding motorbike, but double. I think it's the intense concentration for long periods of time.

Discovered recently that Electric Wizard were kinda dicks back in the day. "At the time, we were pretty bad people. I got arrested for arson of a car, outside a police station. Tim [Bagshaw] went to nick a crucifix off a church roof so we could use it onstage..."

R. L. Burnside killed a man "possibly at a craps game."

Varg of ~~Mayhem~~ Burzum burned a couple churches and killed a bandmate.

I could list other examples, but would like to hear from other people and other music genres.

Oh shit.

“We have only started striking Hamas,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said. “What we will do to our enemies in the coming days will reverberate with them for generations.”

@TransplantedSconie@lemm.ee was right, it's turning into the shitshow.

I have to post this on my phone

Logged out, logged in again, cannot get web pages. Can ping to ips, cannot resolve names with ping. Can resolve names with nslookup. Browsing doesn't work obviously but I can get to remote ips like repo locations.

???

REALLY seems like DNS but DNS is working with nslookup and I can change the nameserver in etc/resolv.conf and see nslookup using different nameserver but still no dice when using ping/browser

Any ideas??

I remember playing with 3D Movie Maker extensively. Me and my mate would make shitty movies usually ripping off James Bond or Indiana Jones.

I also used the other McZee programs, Creative Writer and Fine Artist, which were basically a fancy text editor and a fancy paint program.

It feels like we don't have anything like that today, there doesn't seem to be this type of creative game out there. I would have expected 3D Movie Maker to have unending sequels, like the one with Nickelodeon, getting more advanced with each decades pop characters, but it just stopped.

I guess I'm looking for kid-friendly versions of business applications.

Like Creative Writer is Word for kids, Fine Artist is Photoshop for kids, 3DMM is Maya/Blender for kids…

Just kidding, there is no closure. I could not replicate this issue again after multiple reboots.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their suggestions, and easier to make a post here than reply to each single comment.

I'm using ProtonMail and paying for it.

It's decent. The best AFAIK in terms of privacy. Supports labels etc.

The migration process takes so long, I'm split between both still and slowly moving over.

I've heard about this happening and I couldn't believe it.

I don't even understand this from a networking perspective.. Your phone just becomes a router, forwarding requests, so from the ISP perspective it's still the same?

How do they even know?
