Post that I scroll through don’t get marked as read, but posts that I open do, even with the disable auto hide in communities enabled. Is this a bug?

Thank you for you contributions, @Zippity@lemmy.world! As others have noted, Flickr blocks adult content from being displayed to users who are not signed in or who do not have a Flickr account. The preferable way is to directly upload the images to Lemmy when you post.
