Note that if you are Uber user (idk about driver) their website is good enough; for me it works in Firefox mobile (in "Desktop" mode only). Lyft is app only....

I saw a real Cybertruck on a street for the first time last week. Looks much worse than in pictures, like a modernized Trabant.... (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trabant).

This version of TrumpGPT does not have enough parameters, so it hallucinates all the time. But the presidential version will be much better! /s

wX (on Fdroid) is a bit geekier alternative. It has a textual weather description, links to AFD (Forecast Discussion by a human meteorologist), and fantastic radar features.

Afaik the mortgage market (setting mortgage payments, type of mortgage: fixed vs floating) is one of the more efficient markets. So choosing rent/own might not be such a big dilema.

Current state (continuous rise of home prices) is, however, concerning. It used to be that USA's flexibility to move (and refi) was its great advantage (in labor market).

Yeah! How about allowing uninstallation of Chrome from Android?!

I have debloated Win 11 on a Surface pro. Works OK but I much prefer MacOS (on M1, without Apple account) or PopOS. Much more zen.

Well... my PopOS does not report new updates. I have to go to the "store"(Pop_shop) and install updates manually (which I do every few weeks).

Installing "Operating System Updates" is not always a smooth operation: the window downloads 1 update and crashes (disappears).

Probably the best is just to use command line (sudo apt) but thn i have to type the password which is annoying.
