Last time I saw kernel panic I was on 2.6. I don't think I'll ever see him. :(

If they can get away with this instead of total closure, I see this as a save. A weighty one.

Because you asked about "apps", people are replying with mobile apps. I think you wanted to write "programs" considering the community. Maybe you should edit this

Yup, they made it optional for Helldivers 2 but made it mandatory for Ghost of Tsushima. And future PS releases as well.

I'm actually surprised they increased it that much. Last time I checked, it was swimming at 9%.

Hahaha, this article mainly sucks.

Like others already mentioned, I would suggest Linux Mint as well. It's better Ubuntu than Ubuntu and similarity to Windows UI would make his transition much better.

From my experience, only people whose their mother tongue is English make such mistakes.

Yup, you'll be fine. If a game has a Linux version though, you'll still need to download some portion of it. By the way, just don't use NTFS to play on Linux.

It's not just about users though, we need to separate communities as well. There are so many communities on lemmy.world currently.

This post is from 2019-12-29. I was using my netbook as a typewriter at that time (currently a pi-hole server) and still love this rice to this day. (This one also doesn’t have dotfiles since I cannot the reach the website.)

Anyway, this one is from 2017-03-11. No dotfiles since the website I uploaded them apparently not online anymore.
