This only applies to cases where the artist/actor/whatever gets paid upfront. Most of the times, that does not happen. The creator of something only gets money when somebody buys what they have created (books, videogames, music, etc)

While I agree with this, I also must say that yes, EU law literally says that you have to disclose data breaches in 72 hours or something (can't remember exactly how many). If something happened, we would probably know it

Fully agree about Copperhead. Personally I've been using LineageOS since 2017 (and Cyanogenmod before that) and I'm very happy about it
