Thing is, Trump didn't actually have a vision. He didn't think he was going to win, and he was using the whole election as a way to enrich himself. There is no Trump vision, he plans nothing.
I'm glad this game is still getting regular support even though I've stopped playing. There aren't enough games like this that stick around
I enjoyed Frasier, but not because of Frasier himself. I really enjoyed seeing the interaction between him and his brother Niles, along with Roz, Daphne etc.
So if this is just a show about Frasier, then I'm out.
I was thinking "what the hell does social justice warriors have to do with this" and then I realised ಠ_ಠ
Nobody has trust in our government. The way they've treated immigrants (both legal and otherwise) is abhorrent. I'm not surprised that nobody wants to come here.
Break the task down into bitesize chunks and then just do the first one. The dopamine hit from completing the first part will help your executive dysfunction.
Example (do the dishes):
- Move dishes out of the sink
- Fill sink with hot water and soap
- Wash one plate
- Wash one set of cutlery that goes with the plate
Once you do 1, you'd be surprised at how easy 2 is, then 3, then 4 and then the rest of them.
It's a skill, so it's not something you can just click your fingers and do, so work on it, and develop the skill over time. It's tough, but doable
Holy shit, I forgot this channel existed, I loved Primitive Technology a few years ago. Thanks for the reminder!
Each to their own, sometimes a cosy game scratches just the right itch
Loving it. I was a longtime user of Reddit Sync, so I'm fully on board the Sync for Lemmy train.
The only thing I've noticed is that after a period of non use perhaps an hour or so, when I launch, it crashes back to my home screen. The only way I can get the app to open is by Clearing all Data then restarting.
Window open, door closed; window closed, door open. I do what I can to prevent unnecessary door slamming in the night caused by a draft from the window
Welsh here. Not everyone speaks it, but that's because the English (even as late at the 1950's) used the school system to literally beat it out of us (look up the Welsh Not). Even with that concerted effort to force the language out, it's growing again after a few generations have passed. Being from the south, I know relatively few people who speak it fluently, but I know exactly 0 people who would actually want it abolished.
I tend to be pretty pessimistic about these cases. Even if the UK Govt win, Google won't change anything, or if they do the change will be subtle enough to not have any impact
