it's actually a blue collar job where they do quite a bit of physical labor, at least the good ones. I have more respect for that then a lot of white collar jobs.
Sounds like they're basically requiring parental controls on device, which I think is the optimal solution. Though a lot of parental control apps get really privacy invasive.
They have a Firefox translations extension which is pretty good and entirely client side. Unfortunately it didn't support many languages and didn't support Chinese or Japanese so it was a deal breaker for me.

Finding sources will always be relevant, and so will finding links to multiple sources (search results). Until we have some technological breakthrough that can fact check LLM models, it's not a replacement for objective information, and you have no idea where it's getting its information. Figuring out how to calculate objective truth with math is going to be a tough one.

How expensive is it to run a dead mastodon instance lol. Ppl do this out of pocket already in the greater mastodon ecosystem. Hell, we're talking on an example of that. Is the instance owner of your instance doing this out of pocket?
