I know I shouldn't do it here, but let me ask a serious question : does the square in O(n!²) really matter ? I have a confused intuition that the factorial grows so much faster than the square that it kind of disapears assymptoticaly.
Given the abundance of plastic and the chemical energy it contains, it is not really surprising to see lifeforms evolve to digest it... I wonder how long it will take for them to be seen as a "solution" (to plastic polution), to a "problem" (e. g. by destroying plastics outdoor, or just by unballancing ecosystems).
Interresting read (and device)... But the most important question is "could it be used to silence those nasty Bluetooth speakers ?"

Article is paywalled, but just the incipit is somewhat incoherent:
- any amount of drinking can be detrimental
- you may want to cut down your consumption
The first point suggest[1] that the (bad) consequences of drinking does not depend on the amount drunk. The second advise to reduce consumption.
If very bad things can happen even with very small amount of alcool, the only wise advice would be to completely stop alcool consumption.

I'm always annoyed when an article say “Enceladus’s ocean contains phosphorus, an element that is essential to life.” (emphasis mine). Well it is essential to life on earth. For life in general... we can only speculate. Maybe exo-life use widely different chemical processes. Maybe even identifying it as life would be controversial.
Like the author of this paper said, for me it's not really about third party apps. The problem is that reddit try to monetize a content that is our collective property.
The algorithm really doesn't work when you are critical or sceptical over a subject. For instance crypto sceptics from r/buttcoin being shown binance ads. Yes, they do show an interest in crypto, but may be the least suceptible persons to that ad.
Maybe a piece of very dense matter (neutronium ?), at very high speed (relativistic) could do that ?
