Bots are already proliferating the fediverse. Kbin is constantly spammed with "buy online drugs here" links. Transparent bots (those that are tagged as bots) try to boost engagement by reposting things from Reddit, but are still perpetuating one of the worst aspects of reddit even if they're being upfront about it. AI generated articles posted on obvious junk websites are constantly being spammed by the same accounts.

It's a difficult problem to solve.

Can you fault them though? Everywhere you turn you're being asked to tip or donate. Influencers and corporations constantly astroturf social media. The rise of LLMs has made it necessary to question every interaction that occurs virtually.

Honestly, I worry for the people who aren't cynical and how they're going to be deceived, manipulated, or straight up scammed.

The fact it's a video game smells of Musk's touch. Anyone else remember all the tweets he made about Tesla running games on the main monitor?

I get what you're saying. He was a kid and probably had a fucked up childhood that led to everything. It's rare that people like that develop in a vacuum. But that's an explanation of how he got here, not an excuse.

Now he's an adult. There are definitely people on the right using him, but he made the decision to let them. He could have easily slunk into the shadows and gone on with his life. Instead, he felt the court acquittal wasn't enough and had to continue to prove he was right for his actions on the public stage. That's his choice and his alone.

He deserves the ridicule.

We really don't tell Musk to go back to his own country enough.

I wonder if that will hold up in court for existing customers affected prior to the updated TOS.

Wtf is up with the proliferation of "slams" in social media headlines? Hell, the article in question doesn't even say "slams", it says "condemns".

Can't wait to see the Karl Jobst update video for this.

I had the same thought. I always wonder if these types of articles are written with the purpose of sowing negative feelings towards EV in order to maintain the fossil fuel status quo.

EVs are here to stay. Tesla's valuation drop has nothing to do with consumer appetite for EV and everything to do with the fact that they're overpriced, poor build quality, questionable design and engineering decisions, and the abyssal oversold failure of full autonomous driving.

So they removed an article for the world because of a lawsuit in one country?

Didn't Dodd-Frank get gutted a bit in recent years?

I like the fan theory that Event Horizon is a prequel of sorts to the Warhammer universe.
