Much to the chagrin of a large portion of lemmy users Edge is not actually a bad browser. If you're using a chromium based browser anyway there's really nothing worse about edge than the other options. Obviously not talking about Firefox here.

That still doesn't tell me why I should be concerned. Another country having access to good technology doesn't set off alarm bells for me. I guess I need someone to spell out why them being less reliant on the West for tech is concerning. Especially considering how true the opposite has been (in regards to manufacturing) for ages.

Why? I'm not super educated on this matter and can't find anything clear on why this would be bad

Random team meeting on the first Friday after I got hired. "Telltale has lost it's funding and everyone is being let go". Fun week.

Federation still causes those images to be saved on your hardware, even if the account that creates it is hosted somewhere else.

Some leadership will actively not promote you, even block attempts by you, if you're at the top of your role and consistently outperforming peers, why would they let you move up? You make them look good right here.

I'm over Chris Pratt, can we stop giving him truck loads of money, please?

If you want kids you should have them. You can let fear of the ifs keep you from doing that. I say this being generally opposed to children as well lol

I haven't seen a car with an aftermarket stereo in a decade but I'm probably speaking from a place of privilege. I do think they're far less prevelant now though

Had one since launch, first foldable. Zero issues with the interior screen/crease. People need to remember you'll hear about the issues, you won't hear about people just enjoying their device normally.

I disagree with people who say the inside screen is useless. For one, I use it to share pics with family because it's easier for multiple people to view. I also use it for watching videos, it's quite nice.

I am also a remote sys admin. I use the inside screen for RDP/ssh sessions to remote machines for quick weekend maintenance. I will never go back.
