Just a regular ol' Pokeball (aka wet treats and an extra thick blanket)

Didn't they say they removed it because there were homophobic comments under a popular BL anime? A situation that could have easily be solved with a moderation system (which I know they had because they removed comments with external links).

I guess they didn't want to ban bigots with subscriptions.

I mean, it's South Korea, where 30% of their GDP is Samsung and Hyundai, and an additional 50% is other assorted chaebols. Corporate greed is assumed to be the ONLY interest.

I don't think people realize how huge it is that Lies of P, a single player soulslike with no microtranaactions, came from a Korean developer. The Korean gaming industry does not think games like this can actually succeed because of the gaming culture there. Round8 deserves a lot of praise for what a huge undertaking Lies of P probably was behind the scenes.

Sorry, it's my friend who does it, not me, and I can tell you right now his clients are dumb finance/business bros, not tech.

All he does is throw the job description into some version of chatGPT to generate a cover letter, and edit it around to make it relevant to the person's skills and sound like a human wrote it. Then he reduces the resume down to one page. Usually this is enough to get them into the group interview (according to him).

Basic stuff to tech oriented people but this shit is still a mystery to so many college kids/recent grads.

What's worse is that it seems like Evil Empire is going to get cut off of the revenue from Dead Cells because Motion Twins owns the IP. EE has been working on the game since after the first DLC expansion (1.5 or 6 I can't remember), and the majority of the content and expansions are done by them at this point, not Motion Twin.

I am interested to see what Evil Empire has in store, as they announced they are working with two long dormant IP, and they did just work with Konami on the Castlevania expansion of Dead Cells...

This is only true of certain segments of the working class, mainly the white collar workers located in Western countries. As we see wealth inequality increase globally, I don’t think it’s fair to say every single person is working less.

Also legality aside, kids generally don’t have money to go to bars, restaurants, or music festivals.

While true, only one of those things you listed don’t require money, and tbh even volunteering is hard when you have to work 2-3 jobs to get by.

Kids and adults these days don’t have 3rd places to just relax and hang out anymore. The internet is arguably the cheapest way to hang out.

Bruh, in your analogy where are you getting the money and materials to patch up the building? It’s being hoarded by the guy that owns a giant state of the art mansion up the street that needs 0 repairs.

And that mansion has TWO elevators.

My mother was an OG stan and used to follow TOKIO and KinKi kids (and I’m sure we have some cassettes/CDs of theirs in our attic), and even she talks about the terrible abuse rumours that went around during those days. For context, those two groups debut around 1993 or 94.

This has been going on for a long time. The J-Idol market (like most entertainment media industries) needs a top to bottom cleanup. I hope the victims at least find some peace.
