I think it’s the same reason games offer a cash shop for things you can get in-game. Sure they’re making billions but why not billions plus ad revenue? I don’t agree with the practice but the answer always comes back to money.
I too was in middle school when Columbine happened. The next year we weren't allowed to wear trench coats... In Phoenix...
If you heard a noise, you were spared.
I’ve been hearing “but wait, Blizzard fixed it” for over half my life at this point. Never once was it true.
I’ve lived in Washington State (western) for 4 years total and have seen exactly 10 days of snow the entire time I’ve been here. Houses are still 3-400k. I want to move either closer to SeaTac or down to Vancouver because I bought a house in an area with a lot of flags on trucks if you catch my drift. We have more cloudy days than anything. We get lots of rain but it’s mostly just clouds and drizzles.
So you can avoid it, right? Because it’s so horrible? Where exactly so you can stay far away.
Got the deck dock on the living room TV and use it to both chill-game and have the kids Skype with grandma and grandpa.
If I was employed by the employer, 100% they'll get the address. This is for an APPLICATION. That you don't even know for sure is the actual company. I hope people aren't just giving their address out to any faceless "person" on the Internet that asks.
But I do agree that it's a ridiculous thing to require. I also think it's just bots collecting data. Plenty of fake jobs on LinkedIn from my experience.
I think they're just trying to verify that you're from a country they want to hire from and that you have a physical address. I just give them City Hall's address because it's in my same zip code and I doubt anyone's going to verify that I physically live there.
And I bought it once. I think that’s a fair trade.
Release it on PC then. Enough with the console exclusivity just to bitch that the game isn’t selling well.
