We just went to the La Trobe market. You can't best a good old school market with the guy at the fruit and vegetable stall constantly shouting

It's the last week of the month. If you want to change jobs now is a great time to apply for roles coming up to 14 days old

There was a Rush cover band playing at Max Watts last night, I wish I could have gone. Usually I'm not one for cover bands but it sounds like these guys play Rush songs exactly the way they did, and they were doing Moving Pictures and the song Hemispheres in full

Learning modules through work are always a terrible experience. Why are they so clunky and difficult to use? They could just be forms with embedded images and videos

I'll take the kids on a other ride with the bicycle users group today if everything works out.

We went on one a few months ago and haven't made it since from a mix of the weather, being sick, and other plans.

They're a good group so I don't want to be one and done with them

The support chat in some apps needs its own notification.

Birds got into the Woolworths delivery yesterday because the doorbell wasn't rung.

I jump on the support chat, because that's the only way you can do anything these days, then waiting for a response I close my phone. I have a job, kids, and a life so I forget about it and the support person leaves the chat. Where does that leave my things the birds got into? I need a buzz or a reminder or something these people have replied

I had a chat with a recruiter about a job at an interesting place yesterday. It's a tyre company she described as a 'christian' business. I know the brethren are a weird christianity offshoot and like to run their own businesses in safe industries.

A tyre place back home is owned by the brethren, so maybe it's the same deal with this place. I wouldn't work there, but I'd almost prefer the transparency of going to work at a place where you're expected to act proper around your weird bosses instead of the modern places insisting everyone be friends and not being sure where the boundaries are.

It's what you get after a drunken night out for the trip home

One of the boys learnt how to say 'more'. Not just the word but the meaning as well. We've also been teaching the boys a bit of sign language because apparently kids can pick up on it quicker and it's good to know anyway.

In reality, signing 'more' allows him to ask for more food whilst his mouth is already full

Sleep school is alright. This facility is really nice and the staff are great. The food is a little lousy, which is to be expected. It's pretty much hospital grade microwave meals, but they're provided and you're free to head out and do whatever you want.

I should have taken the week off but with how everyone was feeling last week it was still up in the air.

I know it's late, but I think I'll read a bit of Master and Commander before bed. I heard on a podcast the series is actually a good read so I picked up the book and read a couple of pages at lunch.
