Yeah they’re clearly here because they think they have no chance of getting manipulated, that they’re better than others, or even that they think this is some sort of free speech thing. The government routinely bans things that cause foreign influence, it’s just usually not at this scale and not something people are addicted to and use as their news.

You’re not gonna believe it, but a large portion, if not all, of those fax machines simply use email on the backend. I’m not joking. You fax something to a phone number and it actually gets sent via email to the other end. Or, alternatively, companies will literally require faxing between each other and it’s literally just all email.
