I thought conventionalcommits.org was very well known.

I made my company use it and now it's so much easier to navigate git history. We also get automatic, humanly readable changelogs for free.

Everything is better in Rust. Faster, safer... And also the developer experience is amazing with cargo.

The problem here is not Rust, it's the humans, it seems.

The dependencies are set manually, of course, and the dev was enforcing something too strict, it seems, and that is causing headaches.

But, as the debian dude has learned... Rust programs will 99.999 % work if they can be compiled.

Pretty sure Portal and Portal 2 are playable in Linux.

  • ISO date and time.
  • Metric system.
  • USB-C.
  • Git.
  • ConventionalCommits.
  • Semantic versioning.
  • XDG Base Directory.
  • OpenDocument.
  • HDR10+.

Also, I would enforce every online shop, transport company, hotels... All of these functioning under a federated market, sort of like the fediverse. Impossible to corrupt. Impossible to monopolize. True choice.

The second one. Some apps were taking advantage of the fact that X allowed any program access to EVERYTHING on your screen, shortcuts, etc. Wayland ensures more control, which is excellent news, but definitely the change requires programs to adapt, and some have not (AnyDesk, for example).

This is the definitive replacement for gboard, people. It works fantastically well already with everything that Gboard has and it will only get better from here on.

Don't worry, we are sure you Wayland haters will keep up some obscure X distro with a spacebar-heater feature while the rest of the world keeps moving forward.

New thunderbird app please be good... FairEmail is the best there is, but every few months we hit one of these critical points where the dev is about to shut everything down... and I am afraid the end is coming.

I read somewhere that those deja vu and precognition dreams are actually mostly your mind having a glitch, believing this present moment is also past. No dream or past event exists, you just think it does because it feels like it. Weird stuff.

Common tropes have existed forever. We can complicate stories a lot, but at the end of the day, all stories share stuff, specially the stuff that has worked for thousands of years.

Useless article. It's a goddamn tool. If I take a million dollar car, I can still use it to kill people if I want to. This is just asking for standard information you can see in medical websites, and you want it banned?
